The health of small business owners, their employees and the SCORE network of volunteers remain our top priority.  In the wake of recent developments relating to COVID-19, SCORE is temporarily suspending in-person events until further notice.  However, continued support is fully available through online mentoring as well as live and recorded webinars. Although we are allowing people to register for upcoming workshops, please be advised that workshops in April and May and beyond may need to be cancelled or postponed due to the COVID-19 virus. The national response to the rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus has resulted in a flood of information for small business owners on resources that are available to help small business owners respond and survive during these trying times. Information has been developed at both the federal and state level, as well as non-profit organizations such as SCORE. The Southern Maryland chapter of SCORE has compiled a list of resources to help you keep abreast of this rapidly evolving information.

Federal Organizations

The Small Business Administration (SBA) has posted information regarding loan programs and guidance for businesses. A summary of SBA assistance and guidance that covers Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs), SBA debt relief, express bridge loans, SBA resources, and government contracting can be found at this special SBA site:
