This workshop is designed to walk you through the practicalities of starting and managing a nonprofit organization. We’ll address the following topics:
• Alternative nonprofit structures
• Key steps to getting started: determining organizational structure, establishing a Board, and developing bylaws
• The needed filings with the state and federal government
• Ongoing governance and operations
The workshop instructor will be Bob Whitcomb, a former corporate controller who has founded and led several non-profit organizations.
