In this free webinar, the second in a series focused on challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, we tackle networking. The webinar will present networking best practices and will include stories from women who have successfully leveraged networking in their careers. We will explore how to tap into your network, ways to grow and cultivate your connections and how to follow a disciplined approach to networking. The format will include an introductory presentation on networking best practices, followed by a panel discussion among some of our area’s power networkers, and a moderated question and answer period where attendees can post questions to our panelists.

Maryland Women’s Business Center

Maryland Women’s Business Center (MWBC) works with entrepreneurs across Maryland’s capital region by way of three locations. Through their resources, they encourage women to start, sustain, and grow their businesses. Through workshops, individual counseling, facilitated peer group support, special resources, and access to capital, MWBC annually helps more than 1,500 women gain the skills, connections, and confidence necessary to navigate entrepreneurship. MWBC is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
